YoYo Case

Short version: YoYo Case does not collect your data. There is no account and no sign-up. Everything you put into the app — your collection, tricks, maintenance logs, notes, and photos — stays on your device. We (the developer) never receive it.
Nothing. YoYo Case has no analytics, no tracking, no advertising, and no third-party SDKs that collect information about you. There is no developer-owned server that stores your data, and nothing you enter is sent to us. This matches the app's App Store privacy label of "Data Not Collected."
YoYo Case is a local-first app. Your yoyo collection, tricks, maintenance logs, notes, and photos are stored on your device using the app's local database (SwiftData) and local file storage. This data stays under your control on your device. If you delete the app, the data it stored is removed with it. If you use iCloud device backups, your data may be included in those backups under Apple's terms, but that is between you and Apple — we have no access to it.
You can add photos to your collection entries, either by taking a new photo with the camera or by choosing an existing one from your photo library. iOS asks for your permission before the app can use the camera or photo library. Any photo you add is stored locally on your device only. Photos are never uploaded to us or to any third party.
YoYo Case can search for yoyo trick tutorials. When you run a search, your search text is sent to Google's YouTube Data API so it can return matching results. Those searches are handled by Google/YouTube and are subject to Google's privacy policy, not ours:
You can also attach and play video links (for example YouTube links) on your tricks. Opening or playing a video connects you to that platform, and your use of it is subject to that platform's own privacy policy.
The app includes a built-in catalog of yoyo models. Some catalog images are loaded over the internet from third-party image hosts (such as retailer or manufacturer servers). When an image loads, your device makes an ordinary web request to that server — the same kind any web browser makes — which can expose your device's IP address to that third party, as is true of any internet request. We do not control those servers or their policies. Once loaded, catalog images are cached locally on your device so they don't need to be re-fetched.
YoYo Case includes an iOS share extension so you can share a video link from another app (such as YouTube, Instagram, or Safari) into YoYo Case to create a trick with that link attached. The shared link is handled locally on your device and is not sent to us.
We do not sell your data and we do not share it with anyone for marketing. Because we don't collect your data in the first place, there is nothing for us to sell or share.
Yoyos are for all ages, and YoYo Case is suitable for all ages. The app collects no personal information from anyone, so it collects none from children either.
If we update this policy, we'll post the revised version here and update the effective date at the top. Meaningful changes will be reflected on this page.
